After October 1 campsites are not reservable, but still are available on a first come basis through much of the fall season. Water and showerhouse will not be available until April 15. Please call (319) 636-2617 for further information about site.
This 65 foot gravel back-in site is available with 50, 30, and 20 amp electricity for one RV. Modern accessible shower/restroom facilities are located at the north end of the campground with a trailer dump station north of the showerhouse. Reservations must be made 3 days in advance of the date of reservation - for example to make a Friday reservation, you must reserve the site no later than Monday of that week. Please read the Facility Contract for additional details and note the No Refund Policy. Fontana Park campground offers additional electric and non-electric campsites that are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Buchanan County Conservation Board (BCCB)
I agree to be responsible for any damages done to BCCB property during the stay by myself or my guests. I agree the Board may apply an additional fee to wholly or partially satisfy any damages caused by members of said group, while using the facilities. Failure to clean up the facility and surrounding area may also result in additional charges.
I further agree to accept the responsibilities stated in the Campsite Rules and Policies stated below, and to abide by all state, county, and BCCB rules and regulations. Failure to comply with any campsite or park rules may result in fines, forfeiture of fees, and suspension of park privileges.

· Notify BCCB staff immediately upon check-in about any apparent damages at the campsite.
CHECKOUT RULES
Upon checkout, campers must make sure the campsite is free of any garbage and litter – including grounds, picnic table, and fire ring. Fires should be extinguished and ashes should be cool to the touch. Fire rings should contain only wood and ash. Tables should be positioned where they were upon arrival.
SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING:
Bedding, towels, toiletries, bug repellent, food, extra trash bags for check-out cleaning, binoculars, camera, canoe/kayak, bicycles, fishing poles, and whatever else you want to enhance your stay in the outdoors!
LIABILITY AND LEGAL RECOURSEThe person purchasing this reservation is responsible for any damage done by individuals using the facility during the period of the rental. This includes paying for materials and/or staff time to repair damages. Destruction of park property, littering, and vandalism also are violations of Iowa Code and Buchanan County Ordinances, and individuals committing such acts may be cited or prosecuted, and their rental and park privileges revoked.
