Rob Bradley will continue his citizen science project of banding birds at Wickiup Hill. These band numbers are sent to a centralized computer so any researcher in the US that collects a bird band will know where the bird was originally banded.What will we catch this fall? It is always a guessing game, but we will usually have a large contingent of either black-capped chickadees or American goldfinches, plus a few rarer birds.Cost is $2.50/adult, $1/child 16 and under, or $5/family.
