Summer is about having fun and playing
outside. Join PCC naturalists as they introduce your child to some fun outdoor
activities which can be enjoyed the rest of their lives. Come to one or sign-up
for an entire series.
Survival Hike - Learn how to build a shelter,
start a fire and even what types of plants are edible.
REGISTRATION: Required
DEADLINE: Register by August 11
COST: $10
AGES: 10-16 year olds
Our top priority has been and will continue to
be the health and well-being of the public and the staff. In response to the
ongoing development of COVID-19, Polk County Conservation programs will adhere
to social distancing, smaller group size, increased sanitation and facemasks
mandatory while indoors.
Reservations
are fully refundable prior to registration deadline. After deadline, programs,
camps and trips with a fee $50 or more, the registration may be refunded less
the $10 cancellation fee if space can be filled. If the reserved space is not
filled, no refund can be given. If an event, program, camp or
trip is cancelled by PCC due to a natural disaster or insufficient registration
numbers, a full refund will be issued to the person that made the original
reservation.
