Cabins Cabins at Lake Icaria
The Adams County Conservation Board has 14 log-style cabins.  These rustic getaways were designed to provide a camping experinece in which you do not need to pull a unit or pitch a tent.  The cabins are one room with a deck facing the lake, and 5 of the 14 cabins are handicapped accessible.  Three of the cabins will be open year-round and one has its own restroom.  Each cabin cleeps six and is equipped with two sets of bunk beds, a fold-out couch, refrigerator, microwave, heater A/C unit, and water hydrant right outside the door.  Restrooms are close by.  For information or to make a reservation for a cabin, please call the park office at 641-322-4793. Off-season is October 20 through April 10.  Cabin 9 is a full-service cabin that is open year-round.  If you are a group, cabin 10 and 11 can be offered with cabin 9, however you will be required to share the restroom and shower in Cabin 9.
Camping Camping at Lake Icaria
Two campgrounds, Timber Ridge with direct trail access to the beach and Lake View Campground with boating dock access and cabins.  Each campground offers electric hookups playgrounds, dump stations, showers and restrooms.  Go to www.lakeicaria.com for more information.

Picnicking is available at various locations.  4 shelters are reservable with restrooms, water, and grills provided.  See individual shelters for more information.
Fishing Fishing at Lake Icaria
Go to www.lakeicaria.com for mroe information.  650 acres of water is teeming with large mouth bass (15" minimum length), walleye, bluegill, crappie, channel catfish.  There are no wake zones for fishing. There are over 100 fishing structures ,which include bush piles, stake beds, rock piles and more.  Fishing is a year-round sport.  You can visit Lake Icaria in winter months to try your luck at ice fishing.  Shoreline access is excellent, fish from a boat, or use the handicapped fishing pier.  Fish cleaning stations are provided for your convenience.
Hunting Hunting at Lake Icaria
The DNR and Adams County Conservation Board have established a permanent Canada Goose population at Lake Icaria.  Check for refuge line boundaries.  1200 acres of land surrounding the lake provide hunting. Quail, pheasants, deer, turkey, rabbit, squirrel and waterfowl are major fall sports.  No hunting is permitted in the refuge on the north side of the lake, campgrounds or public facilities. Lake Icaria offers many great locations for picnicking.  Whether you're looking for a shelter (of which 4 are reservable) or looking for a grassy spot to spread out a blanket, you'll have many locations with lovely vistas to choose from.

Over 6 miles of trails over bridges and stairs where you can enjoy nature.  Natie prairie stands have also been established.
