Cabin #1 Mallard
Located just inside the entrance to Lake View Campground. You will find the Mallard Cabin to your right on the north side of the road. Cabin is 14 x 18’ with 6’ front porch. Cabin has two sets of bunk beds and a foldout couch. Includes electricity, microwave, refrigerator, table, air conditioner/heater, hydrant for water right outside the door, broom and mop. Cabin renter provides all personal items such as linen, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, cooking utensils, etc. A picnic table, fire ring and charcoal grill are provided. No sleeping tents will be allowed to be set up near the cabins. A restroom is located beside the cabin, however showers are further west of the cabin.
2 night minimum with 3 night minimum on summer and holiday weekends. *Friday and Saturday night cannot be split, they must both be rented together by the same party.
Person renting the cabin must be at least 21 years of age and present during the stay.
Full rental payment plus 5% hotel tax and separate $100 damage deposit check is required at the time of the reservation. A 3.2% convenience fee will be charged if a debit/credit card is used. No damage deposit is required if a credit/debit card is used. 2 night minimum with 3 night minimum on summer and holiday weekends. *Friday and Saturday night cannot be split, they must both be rented together by the same party.
Person renting the cabin must be at least 21 years of age and present during the stay.
Full rental payment plus 5% hotel tax and separate $100 damage deposit check is required at the time of the reservation. A 3.2% convenience fee will be charged if a debit/credit card is used. No damage deposit is required if a credit/debit card is used. The damage deposit will be returned to you: a) if you cancel the reservation before the date of use; b) if the cabin has been cleaned according to the provided checklist and equipment and furnishings are not lost or damage. All or part of the deposit may be retained against cleanup costs, damage or loss incurred. If the deposit amount does not cover such costs, the renter is held responsible for additional payment.
Each renter will be given directions for check-in upon receipt of the rental fee. A cleaning checklist will be posted on the inside of each cabin. Renters will be responsible for following the checklist. Your cooperation is appreciated. If special arrangements need to be made for check-in or check-out, contact the Park Ranger as soon as possible at 641-322-4793.
$80 per night Sunday – Thursday
$90 – per night Friday and Saturday
$500 per week
Off season $80 per night. (If you have a group that would like to book off-season. Cabins 10 and 11 can also be rented with 9. However, all will have to use the bathroom and shower in cabin 9.)
Cabin is available year round. You can not make reservations on this site. You must contact the Park office at 641-322-4793 to make a reservation.
