The Black Hawk County Conservation Board maintains 37 areas totaling approximately 8,200 acres. These include river accesses, wetlands, wildlife areas, campgrounds, bike trails, geologic sites, lodges, and nature center.
The Black Hawk County Conservation Board meetings are open to the public and visitors are welcome. The Board is scheduled to meet on the second Thursday of each month at 5:00 PM. Please note, date, time & location is subject to change.
