This all season cabin lets you experience camping without pulling a trailer or pitching a tent. This cabin has two bedrooms, open style kitchen/living room/dining room & a bathroom with shower. It is heated & air-conditioned. The south wall of the cabin is primarily windows & offers a beautiful view of the lake while providing its guests with peaceful privacy. A covered patio area with table adds to the useable space of this cabin even during inclement weather.

Location

The cabin is located along Big Woods Lake, near the bike trail.

Amenities

This cabin accommodates six people. One bedroom has a queen size bed & the other bedroom has two sets of bunk beds. Kitchen furnishings include a microwave, stove with oven, refrigerator, sink with hot & cold running water, table & chairs, ceiling fan, mop and broom. A coffee pot, 12" fry pan, 2 qt saucepan, pizza pan, spatula and spoon are also provided. The living room has a sofa, side chair and a TV/DVD. A picnic table and fire ring with a grill is provided outside.
The renter provides:
1. Complete linens, mattress pads, blankets, sleeping bags and pillows. (i.e. full size sheets for double bed; twin size sheets for bunk beds)
2. Eating utensils, etc. (i.e. table service, matches, can opener)
3. Dish soap, dishcloth, dishtowel and potholders.
4. Towels, washcloth, soap and shampoo.

Fees

Two-night minimum for a reservation - Friday & Saturday - $105.28/night; Sunday-Thursday - $73.92/night
Three-night minimum for a Holiday Weekend - $284.48.
Weekly rate for seven-nights (1 night free) - $506.24 (In order to receive the discounted price you must reserve by contacting the Conservation Board office at 319-433-7275.)

Hours of Operation & Seasons

This cabin is open all year long.

Renters may check into the cabin after 1:00 PM    
                                                                  
Renters are required to check out by 11:00 AM                                                                     

Closures

This cabin does not close, it is open all year long.
