The Buena Vista County Conservation Board is hosting an afternoon program on Snakes of Iowa. Snakes are an important part of the ecosystem. Iowa is home to 27 different species. Come to learn all about snake anatomy, diet, habitat and more. Several live snakes will make an appearance!   The Snakes of Iowa program will be held on Saturday, July 22nd at 2:00 in the South Shelter Area.  Each program will offer refreshments.  If you plan on attending, please let Katie know by Friday, July 21st by calling 712-295-7985.
