Shoeman Memorial Reserve is a wetland/upland area comprised of cool season grasses and wetland vegetation. The area has two shallow ponds and a wet area in the northeast corner. Donated to Butler County Conservation in 2002, the management of the area is guided by the request of the donor to be used as a nature study area and wildlife refuge.
