Calhoun County Conservation is located in NW central Iowa along the northern corridor of Hwy. 20, and is home to Featherstone Memorial Park. The County Conservation Board manages 30 individual parks, wildlife areas, preserves and rest areas encompassing some 653 acres.
Enjoy lakeside camping at FEATHERSTONE PARK, a 56-acre park located on the northwest shoreline of North Twin Lake. There are 61 RV hook-ups, unlimited tent sites, public restrooms, and showers. Featherstone Park includes a recreational trail, playground equipment, two shelters, docks for swimming and fishing, a boat ramp, and a handicapped accessible dock.

Activities in Calhoun CountyFor those seeking outdoor recreation, North and South Twin Lakes offers everything from boating, skiing, swimming, biking, camping, fishing, and golfing in the spring and summer months, and tobogganing, ice skating, cross country skiing and hunting throughout the fall and winter. A seven-mile bike/walk trail is currently under construction at North Twin Lake.
