Featherstone Memorial Park

Featherstone Memorial Park consists of 51 acres that are located on the North West shoreline of North Twin Lake. Here you will find a 453 acre Lake to the North and a 600 acre Lake to the South.

If recreation is what brings you to our park, you may find enjoyment on the 7 mile bike trail that starts along North Twin and circles the lake. If biking isn't your activity of choice, you can easily find entertainment near the waters edge with public access to boat ramps and docks along the shoreline for swimming and fishing. Please be reminded to bring your flotation equipment with you during your visit. There is no life guard on duty!

Featherstone Memorial Park also caters to those that are interested in just getting away and enjoying time in nature. Our park accommodates all styles of camping from Campers and Tent Camping, to Cabin Rentals. To start, we offer 79 campground spaces that include both water and electric hook ups.  The first 30 are long-term sites that can be found on the South End of the campground. The other 49 camp sites are located on the North End and have a maximum stay of 14 days. For those wishing to camp via tent, we offer 24 sites that are located close to the shoreline for a great view! All campsites are on a first come basis. We do not offer reservations on these sites at this time. The campground will close December through April. If staying through the times that the campground is closed (water or electrical turned off) you will still have to pay the normal fee per night.

For those who wish to experience the outdoors in a more homelike environment, Featherstone Memorial Park offers seven cabins for campers to choose from. Each cabin is equipped with an amazing view of the lake and each offers their own unique camping experience. For more information on the specific cabins offered, please click on the Facilities link on the left.

Last but not least, Featherstone Memorial Park also offers three restroom facilities with showers and two shelter houses for public use. If you plan to bring your little adventurer(s) with you, please be sure to check out the playground areas that are also located along the lake. We hope to see you out there!
