Outstanding Owls

Event Summary

Everybody loves owls – they adorn many of our clothes, accessories, and home décor. But how much do you actually know about the ones we have here in Iowa? Learn about owls, their amazing adaptations, and the species that call Iowa home with Lime Creek’s naturalist intern, Brianna Sholly. The end of the program will cover how biologists study owls in the wild and walk you through an owl call survey. If the weather permits, we’ll even try to do a few owl surveys outside at Lime Creek! All ages are welcome for the indoor presentation. The program is free of charge, but registration is required. Please call 641-423-5309.
