Hyde Park is a 57 acre park located along the North Raccoon River, with most of the park being forested.  The park offers 28 electrical camping hookups and unlimited primitive sites.  A concrete boat ramp and fishing riffle provide easy access and improved fishing opportunity on the river.  A sledding hill and enclosed shelter house exists for those interested in winter activitiies. The Merritt Park boat ramp is located 12.4 miles upstream, with Richey Park and Horseshoe Bend Wildlife Area providing closer upstream access with unsurfaced canoe launches.  The Brown Bridge boat ramp is 6.7 miles downstream.

Location

Hyde Park is located seven miles north of Scranton on N65.  Or five miles west of Churdan on E19 and two 1/2 miles south on N65.

Operating Hours & Seasons

Hyde Park is open all year.  Park hours are 5:30 A.M. to 10:30 P.M.  The restroom is open from mid April through mid October.
