Seely Creek Timber consists of 187 acres of beautiful rolling oak-hickory timber.  The area offers excellent deer, turkey, and squirrel hunting but is land-locked.  Permission must be acquired to get access to the area.   For more information, please contact the Guthrie County Conservation Board at 641.755.3061.

Operating Hours & Seasons

Basic GCCB Park Rules

  • Parks open at 6:00 a.m.
  • Parks close at 10:30 p.m. for non-campers.
  • Park in designated areas.
  • Fires, Wastes - use containers provided.Keep pets on leash.
  • Do not pick any wildflowers.
  • All State and Federal Laws apply to county areas.
  • Speed limit is 15 m.p.h.
  • Hunting in designated areas only.
  • Keg Beer - Permit required
