Crawford Creek Recreation Area is a modern 260 acre park located 3 miles south of Battle Creek, IA. Established in 1975, the park has become an oasis for those seeking a quick get away or a weekend retreat. The 62 acre Crawford Creek Lake is abundantly stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie and channel catfish. Any size motors may be used on the lake, but must be operated at a “no wake” speed. A concrete boat ramp, fishing jetties and docks all help provide a way for the angler to wet his line.
