Get a chance to explore private land, owned and managed by Friends member Dave Gossman. This property is loaded with flora and fauna coming back to life after a long winter. From Maquoketa, take 61 north to E17, take E17 west and 155th avenue north - there is parking in the field right off that intersection and we will hike from there north along Buck Creek to see the beavers. Wear appropriate clothing and hiking boots.
