Richardson Timber Preserve


DO NOT ENTER THROUGH PRIVATE PROPERTY!!! Google maps is not accurate. To access this park, park in parking lot off 317th Ave and use our trail. Again, DO NOT walk on private property.

 

This 20-acre tract is being preserved as a typical example of Iowa's oak-hickory forest.  Many examples of its rich and diverse wildlife and flowers can be found here.

This property was donated by Mrs. Nevada Richardson.

Please respect adjacent private property.




Location

Located seven miles west of Preston on Highway 64 and 2 miles north on county road 317th Avenue.
Only walk-in access exists to the area from our parking lot on 317th Ave.
