Plum Creek Dam is 7 acres and offers a public boat ramp to the East Fork Des Moines River. Excellent walleye and catfish fishing can be found above and below the rock dam located adjacent to the parking lot.
Location
Plum Creek Dam is located just northeast of Algona along 240th St. Its western edge across the river borders Wildwood Recreation Area.
