SHELTER - Morgan Creek
The Morgan Creek Shelter is a seasonal facility and extremely popular for family reunions, youth group outings and corporate social gatherings. This is a seasonal "open air" shelter (no walls), with the following amenities:
- 22’ x 38’ - 836 square feet of sheltered use area
- Open air facilty (not enclosed) - picnic shelter
- Sheltered capacity - 50 to 60 people
- Fair-weather capacity - 275+ people - advanced arrangements required with park staff - (319) 396-2363
- 10 picnic tables under roof
- Five charcoal grills
- 4 double electrical outlets
- Small food preparation/serving counter
- Parking for 20 cars directly adjacent (additional parking for 64 cars within walking distance)
- Pit vault restroom nearby
