Bicycle Repair Station installed at Cedar Valley Nature Trail Head on Boyson Road
this happened to you? You’re enjoying a nice, leisurely bicycle ride and the
wheel is loose on the axle…or maybe your brakes need tightening... Linn County Conservation is adding three bicycle
repair stations along the Cedar Valley Nature Trail to allow you to fix it
quickly. These bike stands by Bike Fixtation ® will
allow bike riders to mount their bicycle and make a quick repair with provided
tools. These tools, including various sizes of wrenches and screwdrivers, are securely attached by retractable cables. An air pump is also available to get you back on the trail in no
time. The first repair station has been installed at the Cedar Valley Nature Trail head at Boyson Road. More bicycle repair stations are planned for the County Home Road parking area, and the Center Point Railroad Depot.
These three bicycle repair stations are
made possible by donations from Blue Grass Enterprises in Alburnett, ITC
Midwest, and Linn County Trails Association (Bob Westercamp memorial).
