SQUAW CREEK PARK & CAMPGROUND is located on the east side of Marion, IA directly off IA Hwy. 100. (Exit Banner Drive to the south) GOOGLE MAPS LOCATION - 4310 Squaw Creek Lane, Marion, IA 53202 Site #A-6 is located in the southern area of the campground loop (see map under "Related Items" below), and is near the campground entrance, shower facility, campground host, firewood supply, etc.
CAMPING FEE: $30/per night CAMPING DISCOUNT CARDS ARE NOT VALID FOR THIS CAMPSITE CAPACITY: Five (5) person maximum occupancy for camping Reservations may be made up to one year in advance. Online reservations will be accepted April 15th thru October 15th. "Pre and Post"-season camping will be on-site self registration only and not available online. (NOTE: Should this site not be reserved on a particular day, it may be used via the normal self-registration system in the park for a fee of $25.00/night)
Squaw Creek Campground is open seasonally from April 15th through October 15th. Campground hours are 6:00 AM - 10:30 PM daily Main gate closes at 10:30 PM. Gates are not locked. All non-registered campers (visitors) shall exit the area by 10:30 PM Campground quiet hours are 10:30 PM - 6:00 AM Set-up or take-down of camping equipment between 6:00 AM and 10:30 PM only

NOTES ON USE OF CAMPGROUND IN "OFF-SEASON": The campground may be opened prior to April 15th or closed after October 15th pending favorable weather & ground conditions. Water and modern restrooms/shower facilities may be closed to prevent freezing even though the campground may remain open. Online reservations will not be taken for the "off-season" period, campers will need to utilize the on-site self-registration system and pay the required fee.

Camping receipt must be attached to the site marker provided. Even though site was reserved online, campers must confirm arrival by submitting a self registration envelope in the campground with name/address & reservation number. FIREWOOD - PLEASE BURN YOUR FIREWOOD LOCALLY - "Buy Here - Burn Here". If you do not burn all the firewood you may have purchased in a Linn County Park, and find it necessary to transport the firewood elsewhere - please obtain a "Firewood Certification Card" from the point of sale. (NEW State Law begins 01/01/2011) Firewood is available for purchase in major campgrounds from the park's Host Campers
