Red Cedar Lodge, located in Squaw Creek Park, was constructed in 1975 and originally used as a ski lodge in the winter - supporting the adjacent lighted ski hill operation at the time. The ski hill operation ceased in the early 1980s, and the lodge has been on our year-round reservation schedule ever since. It is extremely popular for graduation events, family gatherings, weddings & wedding receptions, corporate gatherings, etc.

To schedule a visit to the lodge to view the interior, please contact our Squaw Creek Park Staff at (319) 377-5954.

Location

Located within Squaw Creek Park, the Red Cedar Lodge is approximately one mile from the entrance. One must pass by the Prairie Oak Lodge on your way to the Red Cedar. It is situated at the bottom of a lighted sledding hill  - a popular regional destination when snow conditions are good.
