Madison County Conservation is located in south central Iowa and is home to Pammel Park and some of Iowa's historic covered bridges. Additionally, the Madison CCB collectively manages 17 parks, wildlife areas and historic sites encompassing over 2,400 acres across the county.

The Madison County Conservation Board welcomes you to the County of historic Covered Bridges, densely wooded river valleys, majestic limestone bluffs and gently rolling grasslands. Activities in Madison County

Recreational opportunities abound within the Madison CCB areas. Individual park development varies from full utility camping and shelter facilities to undeveloped natural areas. Some of our recreational opportunities include, fishing, camping, hiking, hunting, cross-country skiing, and seasonal environmental education programs available for all ages. Handicapped accessible facilities are provided in nearly every park.
