Defined by the Cedar River, Mitchell County Conservation
is located in north central Iowa along the Minnesota border. We are home to the western-most trout streams in Iowa, beautiful river bluffs, and rich woodlands, wetlands, and prairie. Additionally, the Mitchell CCB manages 36 parks, natural areas, historic sites and wetlands encompassing some 2,011 acres across the county.
