Camping Cabin
These cabins, completed in 2005, are furnished with 2 twin and 2 full size beds, microwave, refrigerator, table, and chairs, heat and air conditioning. Cabins rent for $45 per night, with a two night minimum on Friday and Saturday nights. There is a three night minimum on holidays (Memorial, Labor, and Independence Days). The weekly rate is $270.00 if reserved and paid in advance.
These cabins can be reserved beginning January 2nd for the current calendar year by calling the park office at 712-947-4271

Canoes and Kayaks
The conservation board has 6 aluminum canoes and 5 plastic kayaks availible to rent for $20 a day. All 6 canoes and the trailer they are on can be rented for the day at a rate of $100. The rental fee includes the use of life jackets and paddles. There is a $100 deposit for the trailer.

Dennis L. Sohl Center for Outdoor Learning
A great place to hold your next family gathering or graduation party. The Center for Outdoor Learning can be rented for only $200 a day. The facility will seat a little more than 100 people, with standing room for nearly double that. The view from the meeting room is amazing, rolling loess hills, oak timber and tall grass prairies. Our resident elk herd can also been seen from the oversized windows.

Fire Cache PPE and hand tools
Fire equipment is available to rent for private land burning. You can use torches, flappers, rakes, and bladder bags for $25 a day. We do require a $50 deposit on this equipment.

Picnic Shelter
Great for a group gathering, this large picnic shelter has electricity, a grill, plenty of picnic tables. The shelter is protected from wind and rain on the north and most of the west sides. A large parking lot, water hydrant, horse shoe court, and restroom are located near this facility.

Prescribed fire ATV and trailer
We have one ATV and trailer availble to use for $50 a day. We do require a $250 deposit. The ATV is equipt with a water tank and pump.

Truax Seed Drill
