Our 2nd annual Friends Fall Festival, to be held in conjunction with Halloween at Hillview, promises to be a day of fun for the whole family! Let the Plymouth County Pork Producers serve you lunch from 11-1pm then move on to the Craft Fair in our Center for Outdoor Learning. There will also be a bake sale and a raffle for a camping package consisting of such items as a tent, sleeping bags, bag chairs and a one year subscription to Northeast Iowa Outdoors. Outdoors there will be kids games, pumpkins, and at 4pm you can have some delicious pizza made by Catalanos Wood-Fired Pizza! From there we move on to HALLOWEEN AT HILLVIEW! Beginning a 6pm and ending at 8pm kids can trick or treat campgrounds on both sides of the park as well as inside the Center for Outdoor Learning! Our campers really get into the spirit of the evening, decorating their campsites and handing out candy. We end the evening with a Spooky Hike at 8:30pm
This is the last weekend we are open for camping and the camping is free. It is also the only weekend we take reservations. We will begin taking reservations SEPTEMBER 8 AT 8AM!
