FULL “Twosome Camp”- 2-day Parent/Child Riding Camp

"Twosome" Riding Camp: 2-day Parent/Child Riding Camp from 9 am Friday to  7 pm Saturday- Ages 9 and up. $200/per twosome.
 

Want to do spend some quality time with your daughter or son? Love horses and the outdoors? Then this is the camp for you!  Camp will begin with basic horsemanship on Friday.  At JPEC, we believe in good horsemanship from the ground up, and cover all the basics from introduction to the horse, safety, horse care, grooming, saddling, and basic riding skills.  Next, Campers will split into groups for Arena Lessons and Trail Rides. After the first ride sessions, Lunch is served! Later, groups will swap and hit the trails or the arena again. Friday's sessions will end with a sunset wagon ride for the group near the lake. Following dinner, Campers will bunk out under the stars and enjoy a night of horse stories and helpful discussion around the camp fire. Saturday will start with a hearty breakfast for a long, relaxing day of riding! An arena lesson session will be followed by outdoors games and a picnic lunch. Afternoon will include games on horseback and a keepsake craft. Campers  will enjoy one last  guided trail ride and return for a BBQ dinner before heading home. 

If you own your own horse, you can bring it along too. Otherwise we will provide you a great horse from our herd.
