If you are looking for a great way to combine horses and a fun start to the summer, then our "Summertime Kickoff" Summer Camp is for you! Over the 3-day session we will spend every hour out and about around the barn learning about horses! Campers will learn how to work safely around horses and how to groom and tack their horse partner for the week. They will take daily riding lessons in the arena where they will learn to independently guide their horses through an end of the week obstacle course. Each Day will also include an extra afternoon activity- such as a wagon ride, trail ride, or field trip to see the Elk and Bison display at Jester Park.
This camp is great for first time horseback-riders as well as campers who have visited us over past summers! Horse and equipment are provided. Children should wear jeans and sturdy shoes as well as bring a packed lunch and water bottle for the day.
Lunches that need refrigeration can be kept in our concession area.
Cost for 3 day summer camp is $200 per child
