Event Summary

This class is targeted to digital SLR camera (digital cameras that utilize interchangeable lenses) users. Join local nature photographer, Ty Smedes, in a “hands-on” nature photography class. During the first evening we will cover equipment, basic digital camera and post-processing concepts, photographic technique, composition, and lighting, as it relates to wildlife, scenic, wildflower, and macro photography. The second evening will be “hands-on”. Students will have the opportunity to perfect their technique in the field, photographing wildflowers.  Instructor will assist the students in improving technique. Pre-registration is required; deadline is June 29. Minimum age 12. Fee: $25.
This is a two part class: July 6, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Jester Park Lodge and July 8, 6:00 p.m. to sunset Green Meadows West Prairie, Johnston.
