Shake it up with Polk County Conservation as we discover
the uniqueness of Tama County. View the
beauty of Otter Creek Lake from the comfort of the Nature Center and tour the
new exhibits. Our next stop takes us to Dysart where the H.A.T. team will greet
us and Deb the owner of Blacksmith Boutique will give a demo of her craft. Participants will have the option
of exploring downtown Dysart or touring the Historical Center. Lunch will be served in Dysart. At Traer we will tour the Midwest's largest
collection of Salt & Pepper shakers and then journey to Gladbrook. There we
will tour the unique Matchstick Marvels exhibits. A day of unique discoveries in Tama County.
Depart: Prairie Meadows Parking Lot 1, Altoona, IA
Fee: $55, includes motorcoach transportation, lunch
and tour fees.
Registration
deadline is April 14.
Trip
Cancellation Policy:
If the trip reservation is cancelled before the registration deadline the
individual will be issued a full refund.
If the trip reservation is cancelled after the registration deadline, the
individual will be refunded payment only if the assigned space is
re-reserved by another person. The refund shall be the amount of the trip
less a $10 cancellation fee. If assigned space is not re-reserved, no
refund will be given.
The trip reservation fee may also be transferred to another trip prior to the
registration deadline providing the trip is not full.
Waiting List:
A waiting list will be started
when the initial trip is full. The
waiting list gives an indication of interest and is utilized if initial trip
participants cancel.
