Saturday, August 19, 2017

Every year in early spring Ranger Jon Fenner and his staff tap the silver maple trees that call Botna Bend Park home & collect their sticky sweet sap to make their own special maple syrup. Join us on August 19th to taste the fruits of their labor! Grilled pancakes & sausage will be served with our homemade maple syrup along with coffee & orange juice from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. so don't be late!

If you are lucky we may even have some syrup to sell! There is no fee for this event, free will donations are accepted. Please call 712-741-5465 for more information.

Meet at Olsen Lodge, weather permitting.
