Hitchcock Nature Center- Explore the park on a technological scavenger hunt during Hitchcock’s Geocache Bash. Check out a GPS unit to learn how to enter coordinates called waypoints and navigate using an electronic compass. Bring your sense of adventure as you set out in search of hidden caches throughout the park. All experience levels are welcome, hiking may include traversing steep terrain. 20 units will be available to check out upon registering for the event on a first come, first served basis. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, July 15th. Cost: $5.00 per person. Please call 712-242-1197 to register. Weather permitting.
