Bring the entire family out to celebrate the season and head out to the park for a special themed trail & other fun seasonal activities. Wear your costume and enjoy a walk in the crisp fall air and enjoy pumpkin painting, apple bobbing and refreshments.
Participants are asked to meet at the Fox Run Ridge trailhead located in the parking lot of the Loess Hills Lodge at Hitchcock Nature Center. Please dress for the weather as we will be enjoying the fall weather outdoors at this event.
To ensure proper staffing for this event pre-registration is required by Wednesday, October 26th, please register online or by calling 712-545-3283. There is no fee for this all ages event, free will donations will be accepted to support continued programming. All participants will need a valid Pottawattamie County Parks annual permit or will need to purchase a $2.00 per vehicle daily pass to enter the park. Daily use permits may be purchased with cash the day of the event at the front gate, annual permits may also be purchased the day of the event at the Loess Hills Lodge Welcome Desk Weather permitting.
