Hitchcock Nature Center now has the perfect overnight facilities for modern-day nature lovers. The modern campground features 18 spacious RV sites with 50 amp electric service. A shower house with flush toilets, satellite restrooms, water hydrants, and a dump station are also located in the campground area. Each RV site is outfitted with a picnic table and fire ring.
Pets welcome, but must be leashed.

Hitchcock Nature Center is located in Honey Creek, IA just 20 minutes from Council Bluffs, IA and downtown Omaha, NE. Follow Interstate 29 to exit 61A. Turn north on the Old Lincoln Hwy and follow it 5 miles to Page Lane. Follow signs to park entrance.

Hours of Operation & Seasons
The RV Campground is open year-round; however, running water in the campground (including to the yard-hydrants, flush toilets, and shower house) is temperature dependent and may not be available from November - April. Contact the park to check running water availability in April and November. In addition, a campground host may not be available from November - April. Please call 712-328-5833 for exact dates.
