Start making your plans now for our annual Trick or Treat Hike held at Oak Grove Park. Tuesday September 5 starting at 8 am is the date you may start calling (712-552-1047) to make your reservations for this fun filled event. The hike will take place Saturday October 14 from 5:30- 8 pm. The campgrounds will be closed to all vehicle traffic from 5 pm until 8 pm on Saturday October 14. Please plan accordingly. Kids 12 and under are invited to come and trick or treat.
All campers that reserve a site must provide enough candy/goodies for 800 children. To make your reservations please call 712-552-1047. We will not take reservations via other office phones, cell phones, emails, walk-ins, etc. Reservations will be taken on a first call basis. May reserve one site for yourself and one additional camper. Reservations are taken for both Deer Run and Turkey Ridge Campgrounds. Campers will receive Friday October 13 and Saturday October 14 free camping in exchange for the candy/goodies they hand out.
