Hunter Education Overnight Camp- Ages 13-15- July 6 & 7

Event Summary

This overnight camp will take place in the Whitetail and Eagles Nest Cabins located at Oak Grove Park.  Participants will get the opportunity to pass the Iowa Hunter Education course (which is required for an Iowa Hunting license), as well as participate in a fun overnight camp experience.  Participants will learn firearm safety; shoot/don’t shoot scenarios, hunting laws and more. Also go on night hike, catfish the river, try out archery, and make S’mores.  Camp starts on July 6 at 9:30 am and concludes at 1 pm on July 7.  Camper must attend full hours of camp.
