Join the Sioux County Conservation Board for their annual Hunter Safety Education Course.  This course is for any Iowa residents age 11 and over that wish to obtain their hunting license in the state of Iowa.  This course will be held at the Oak Grove Lodge from 9 am- 7 pm, on Tuesday August 8.  Those interested in attending the course must register online, click here for link to Iowa DNR.  Participants must attend full length of class and complete the review questions in the Hunter Safety Manual available at the Public Libraries in Hawarden, Orange City, Sioux Center, Rock Valley, and the Sioux County Conservation Board Administration office.  Class will cover firearm safety, hunting ethics, first aid, hunting laws, and much more.  Students will need a sack lunch and snacks for the day.
