Halloween Hides and Creepy Caches

This is a geocache hunt like no other! Combining the fun of geocaching with the spirit of the season, the pursuit has turned nocturnal! Join us for our third year of Halloween Hides and Creepy Caches and explore the origins of Halloween while using a GPS to enjoy the outdoors.Experience McFarland after dark and find hidden jack-o-lanterns throughout the park. Space is limited, so be sure to register your group early!
Fee of $10 per group with registration is required by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 2017.
We recommend that groups not exceed 10 people.
Participants are asked to dress for the weather and bring a flashlight.
For any outdoor program, SCC recommends bringing a water bottle, wearing a hat and/or sunblock, using bug spray, and dressing for the weather. Long pants and close-toed shoes are recommended for hiking. Our outdoor programs are weather dependent and may be cancelled if conditions are not favorable. In the event that SCC has to cancel a program, registered participants will be notified and a full refund will be issued.
