Who’s “hoo” at McFarland Park!Join us as we investigate the world of Iowa’s nocturnal raptors. Explore the unique adaptations of these impressive predators of the night. Learn how to talk to the owls and enjoy stories of encounters with these remarkable birds. With a live animal, this program is sure to be a hoot!

This event is free, but registration is required by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017.

For any outdoor program, SCC recommends bringing a water bottle, wearing a hat and/or sunblock, using bug spray, and dressing for the weather.  Long pants and close-toed shoes are recommended for hiking. Our outdoor programs are weather dependent and may be cancelled if conditions are not favorable.  In the event that SCC has to cancel a program, registered participants will be notified and a full refund will be issued.
