O.W.L.S. - Portraits of Nature in Iowa

O.W.L.S. programs are designed for "boomers" or older, but anyone is welcome to attend.  These free programs are held the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Story County Conservation Center (56461 180th Street, Ames).  

An optional $7.50 luncheon follows the program at 12 noon.  Registration and payment for lunch are required the Friday prior to each program.  No registration is required to attend the free program.

Portraits of Nature in Iowa presented by Ken Saunders II: 

The 28 images of flora and fauna for this program were captured within a 28-mile radius of and a 42 mile maximum driving distance from Grinnell.  10 locations are represented including Ken’s backyard.    

Menu:  Meatloaf, cheesy hashbrowns, mixed veggies, dinner roll, and cookies

Registration for the optional meal is required by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018
