Animal Architects

McFarland Park, Story County

Saturday, January 30, 2016

You might snuggle up with a blanket and hot cocoa in the winter, but what do the animals do? Some dig, some build, others weave homes. Learn about the builders of nature and then head outside to try making a snug, winter shelter.

All participants are welcome, but activities are targeted to school-aged children. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Dress warmly to be outside for part of the program (warm coat, snow pants, gloves, hat, boots).

This program is free -- but limited to 35 participants.  Registration required by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22.
