This two-day camp is for youth completing grades 3 or 4 spring 2017. Fun-Loving Outdoor Adventure Team (FLOAT) I teaches campers basic outdoor skills while preparing for the higher level FLOAT camps. Fishing, canoeing, map reading, cooking, and other skills will be taught. Children may only be registered for one FLOAT I camp in order to avoid duplicate programming.
This camp will be held Thursday, June 22 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Friday, June 23, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Registration begins on Saturday, April 15 at 8:00 a.m. Adding your child to the waiting list prior to April 15 will not hold a place for them. Please wait until April 15 when online registration opens.
IMPORTANT:
If you have any dietary or medical concerns, please list those on the last step of the check-out process in the "Special Needs/Accommodations/Comments" box.
Mandatory health forms will be sent via email to those registered. Health forms must be returned to SCC one week prior to camp in order for your child to participate.
To cancel a registration, please call (515) 232-2516. Refunds will only be issued for cancellations received at least five business days prior to the camp.
Nature camp t-shirts are available on a pre-paid basis only; we will not be ordering extras. To order your t-shirt, please find the correct size listed on the "Events" tab (available to order now), or click "Continue Shopping" to add it to your cart after registering for camp.
If you have any questions or issues with registration on April 15, please call Melissa (515) 598-4762. The office will be open from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. that day to assist with registrations.
