The camping season has finally arrived at Otter Creek Lake and Park. After what seemed like a winter that didn’t want to let go we finally have had nice weather allowing our staff to ready the remote areas of the park and campgrounds for opening.

The campgrounds at Otter Creek Park will be open on an off-season basis for the 2018 camping season effective 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 27. Off-season camp rates will be in effect through Sunday night, May 6. During the off-season some amenities will not be available such as the shower-house and fishing docks. All restrooms are open and electricity and water will be turned on.

Off-season camp fees are as follows. NOTE: All fees are charged per adult living unit per night. All units camping in electric camp section: $10 per night. Units camping in the primitive camp area (formally the tent section); $8 per night without electric, $9 with electric.

Please note: Due to water line problems the north loop camp area will be closed until work is completed and trench lines leveled and seeded. All other areas of the electric camp section will be open on Friday including the beach, south loop and camper’s hill.
