Solar Eclipse Program

Annett Nature Center and Park, Warren County

Saturday, March 18, 2017

Join guest speaker Mr. Derryl Barr to learn about solar eclipses.  Mr. Barr has been involved in astronomy his whole life.  He received a BS from Westmar College and a Masters from University of Northern Iowa. Formerly he wrote an astronomy column and taught at Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte. He has a wealth of knowledge and observed 21 central eclipses.

This summer will be the first total solar eclipse in 38 years that will be visible in the US. Find out what makes a total solar eclipse so unique and where you can safely view this spectacular event close to home. This is a free indoor program, but please register by filling out the form at http://www.warrenccb.org/events/eclipse/
