There is no public access to this area except by canoe or boat from the river. It does provide an excellent stop over area for canoe enthusiasts, snowmobilers and fisherman. There are no facilities on the site, however. This property had been handed over to the Iowa DNR.
Location
This primitive area located along the banks of the Des Moines River in the southern part of Webster County is 28 acres of heavily timbered wildlife habitat.
