Fall Color Hike

Winneshiek County Conservation will be hosting a fall color hike at Lake Meyer Park on Sunday, October 1 beginning at 2:00 pm.  

Join Winneshiek County Conservation staff in walking the trails around Lake Meyer to enjoy the changes to woods, prairies, and wetlands that autumn brings. Learn what causes the spectacular leaf color change each year. The event is free and no registration is required.  

Please meet at the East Picnic Shelter above the boat ramp. Participants should wear clothes and shoes appropriate for hiking several miles.
