Land of Two Waters

A 260 acre area with restored uplands and restored wetlands, the Shellrock River and Elk Creek also run through the property.

Location

From Kensett head east on 410th St. for one mile turn north or left on Pheasant Ave. continue down road until gate.

Features

The area is mainly restored uplands with a few tree and shrub plantings, some restored wetlands, and some mixed river bottom timber along the Shellrock River and Elk Creek.  There is good deer, turkey, pheasant, and waterfowl hunting.  This area would also be a good one to catch the spring bird migrations.  To view an aerial photo of this area http://worthia.mygisonline.com/?pin=0727100004.  Please note that you will need to use the GIS tools to identify and view the entire property.

Operating Hours & Seasons
