The Wright County Conservation Board has several seasonal positions for spring and summer months, some positions can begin in Mid April to early May, with the remaining positions starting in mid May to early June.







Persons hired will work under the general supervision of the board director or park rangers. Duties include maintenance on buildings, equipment and facilities on the board's park and wildlife areas, private land wildlife development and other areas as needed.







EXAMPLES OF DUTIES







Seasonal employees will work with full time employees in area maintenance such as building repairs and upkeep, equipment repair and maintenance, upkeep of facilities such as tables, signs, trees and landscape. Duties will include mowing, string trimming, tree trimming, cleaning building and area cleanup.







Employees will assist area visitors in registering and selecting campsites and answer questions.







Other duties may include spraying weeds, building or removing fence, posting signs, trash collection and storm cleanup.







Employees will perform basic maintenance on equipment including tractors, mowers, trailers and vehicles.







JOB REQUIREMENTS







Must be 18 and have and maintain a valid drivers' license with clean driving record, be able to sit extended periods, able to lift up to 50 lbs, able to climb ladders and stairways, operate mowers, tractors, trimmers and Utility vehicles. Must pass post offer drug test, physical and background checks.
