Naturalist Intern Position

Dates:  College Internship; Program runs May 1 through August 31

Description:  Responsible for all aspects of interpretive programming including, but not limited to development, marketing and presentation of various programs. Day-to-day activities performed by full-time staff (including copying, filing, building maintenance, etc.) will also be performed by the intern but would not be the focus of the internship.

Qualifications:  Must be at least 18 years of age and attending or planning to attend college in the conservation / education field.  Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.  Certification in first aid is desirable.

Other:  Professionalism and good public relations are essential, as is time management. Internships may qualify for college credit.  Job performance evaluations will be completed. 

Salary:  Hourly Rate will be $10.00 - $12.00 per hour depending on experience.
