Description
Employment period: June 5th, 2017 - August 25, 2017. Start/end dates are flexible
Regular Work Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30 A.M.-4:00 P.M.
Job Description: Under the general supervision of the Park Ranger and Conservation Director, participates in park maintenance work such as repair of buildings, tables, fire rings, tools, and equipment. Maintains developed grounds, boat docks, roads, trails, restrooms
Abilities: Ability to operate equipment such as trimmers, mowers, trucks
Ability to work outside under any type of weather conditions and to withstand physically demanding work such as lifting, stooping and bending
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Essential Duties: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, speak and hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must also be able to stand for two hours without a break

Special Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Iowa Drivers License. Position may require working some weekends, evenings, and holidays

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. Successful candidate must pass a drug screen prior to employment
